Proof of Age (ID Requirments)

At Picturedrome Cinemas we run a strict age restriction policy and as such you must be prepared to present valid ID if you look under 25.

If a film is age restricted 12 A 15 18, the customer must bring recognised photographic identification, regardless if a ticket has been purchased online.

Films rated    are suitable for children aged 12 and over; however children younger than 12 may watch; so long as they are accompanied by a suitable adult (over 18).

The accompanying adult must supervise the child at all times.

In such circumstances, responsibility for allowing a child under 12 to view lies with the accompanying adult.

Films rated 15 and 18 are suitable for persons of this age and over only; regardless of parental concent or accompaniment.

For films rated 15 you must be prepared to present valid ID if you look under 18.

For films rated 18 you must be prepared to present valid ID if you look under 21.

Alcohol sales are strictly for over 18's and we operate a challenge 25 policy.

We accept the following forms of 'valid ID'

Passports

Driving license

Photographic Student Card (with a clear image and date of birth printed on card)

CitizenCard

Other photographic ID cards; carrying the Pass Hologram

***Parental consent or accompaniment is not a valid form of identification.***

ABOUT DIGITAL ID

Leave your passport at home

A digital ID is a safe way to prove your age and identity using your phone. It takes just minutes to set up with an ID document and a photo – then you’re verified for life.

So no more worrying about where your passport is to get into the latest movie – the only thing you’ll be leaving behind is that last-minute panic.

Digital ID is now accepted at UK cinemas.

Responsibility for providing suitable identification falls solely with the customer.

If Valid identification cannot be provided, when requested, you will not gain entry to the film and your tickets and booking fee will not be refunded

The final decision with regard to the production of identification; and it's suitability to prove age rests with the Staff of the cinema, and the Companies' decision in this matter is final.
